1. Age Requirement & COPPA Compliance

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this platform. The Wings of Light Project does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are under 13, you are strictly prohibited from submitting any requests or letters.

2. Medical & Professional Disclaimer

The Wings of Light Project is an independent art and community project designed exclusively for anonymous, human-to-human encouragement. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, or psychological advice, diagnosis, or treatment. I, acting through KJD Digital, LLC, am not a healthcare professional and assume no duty of care. Reliance on any information, advice, or encouragement provided by anonymous users on this platform is solely at your own risk. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or crisis, call or text 988 immediately.

3. User-Generated Content & AI Moderation

I do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, safety, or intent of any user-generated content. You understand that by using the platform, you may be exposed to content that you find objectionable.

AI Processing Consent: To protect the hub, I employ an automated third-party AI moderation tool (Google Gemini) to screen submissions for toxicity and crisis language. By submitting text, you acknowledge and agree that your raw text will be processed by this API. You agree not to submit sensitive personal identifying information (such as full names, addresses, or financial data), as prompts may be reviewed or used by Google to train their models in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

In accordance with Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, KJD Digital, LLC acts as a neutral provider of an interactive computer service. I reserve the right—but assume no obligation—to reject, hide, or permanently delete any content at my sole discretion, without notice.

4. Ephemerality & Data Retention

The Wings of Light Project is built to forget. By design, letters are automatically and permanently deleted 24 hours after being read, and unread requests may be purged at my discretion. I offer no guarantees regarding the storage, delivery, or retrieval of your content. You have no expectation of permanent data retention.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the platform to: submit unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or highly toxic content; impersonate any person; attempt to bypass the anonymity architecture to dox or identify users; or employ automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to flood the platform.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KJD Digital, LLC and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the platform.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and your use of the platform shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any legal action or proceeding relating to your access to, or use of, the platform must be instituted in a state or federal court in Volusia County, Florida.
